Which introduction to succeed Begonia Miss Malibu?

Five nominees for FleuroStar Award announced

Which introduction will succeed last year's Fleurostar winner Begonia Miss Malibu of Dümmen Orange? Fleuroselect announced the five nominees. These introductions will be on display at several locations during the FlowerTrials week (June 13-16). A panel of judges will choose the winner with the 'wow' effect at point of sale. On June 15, the winner will be announced.

The FleuroStar Contest is an initiative of Fleuroselect. It is held annually during the FlowerTrials week in June in the Netherlands and Germany, this year, from June 13-16. The competing varieties are grown by the entering companies and displayed at Beekenkamp, Benary, Dümmen Orange, Florensis, Grünewald, PanAmerican Seed/Kieft Seed, Takii (Fleuroselect stand), Sakata Ornamentals, Syngenta Floripro Services and Selecta one, in Germany.

An independent panel of more than 30 expert judges from across the industry, including breeders, young plant producers, growers, distributors, trade representatives and journalists choose the winner with the 'wow' effect at point of sale.

On June 15, the winner will be announced at the FlowerTrials location of Beekenkamp.
