NL: Paeonia tenuifolia rubra 'Plena' available in winter

Flowering at this time is the Paeonia tenuifolia rubra 'Plena' which is quite an unusual plant. Rijnbeek & Son have been building this stock up over the last few years and have been able to produce substantial levels for the future.

Available this winter
Arno Rijnbeek said “This Paeonia will be available this coming winter for our customers. Paeonia tenuifolia rubra ‘Plena’ has nice feathered leaves and emerges together with Paeonia wittmanniana from the ground in the spring.”

“Then it flowers as one of the first Paeonias. This splendid Paeonia grows up to 40cm height and likes to stand in a slightly shaded area.”
