FlowerTrials launches new route planner

The number of exhibitors and locations at the FlowerTrials grows each year, so careful planning becomes key. To help visitors make the very most out of the event, FlowerTrials has designed a brand-new route planner that defines the shortest itinerary and calculates the travel time between locations.

Norman Cools, ICT and PR Manager VWS FlowerBulbs and FlowerTrials Board Member, is responsible for the website: “The new route planner can either be used upfront when deciding which exhibitors to visit, or in week 24 itself to facilitate the journey. Simply tick the locations, define a start and finish point and the planner does the rest.”

The route planner can be found on the FlowerTrials website: https://www.flowertrials.com/en/route-planner

New locations
Two locations have been added this year to the route. New exhibitors Hendriks and Green Works can be visited at the Hendriks location in 's-Gravenzande, while in the Aalsmeer region, De Zonnebloem Jonge Planten can be found at their own location in De Kwakel. Dümmen Orange has meanwhile moved within Westland and can now be found in Naaldwijk on the Bosweg. Details on all locations and addresses can be found on the FlowerTrials website: https://www.flowertrials.com/en/addresses.

Planning the assortment
Not only the journey, but also the assortment can be viewed upfront, making the selection of locations to visit easier and more effective. For each exhibitor, the FlowerTrials website provides a product video, photos and an overview of the main 2017 introductions. In addition, an improved search field on the home page helps identify more accurately which crop matches which company. A new pot or bedding plant is presented daily on FlowerTrials Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and regular newsletters reveal the highlights of this year’s assortments.

From 13th to 16th June, 59 pot and bedding plant breeders show their latest innovations in the Westland and Aalsmeer regions in The Netherlands and Rheinland Westfalen in Germany. Opening times are Tuesday to Thursday from 08.00 hours to 18.00 hours. On Friday doors close at 16.00 hours. Further information can be found at www.flowertrials.com.
