UK: ‘Flowers for Hope Week’ in memory of Jane Packer

Internationally renowned and pioneer florist, Jane Packer, sadly passed away from a brain tumour in 2011.

This is your chance to engage in a nationwide fundraising campaign to find a cure for this devastating disease and support the charity, Brain Tumour Research whilst celebrating the creativity of the florist industry, in memory of Jane Packer.

The campaign will take place during 12th - 18th June 2017. Jane’s husband Gary Wallis, CEO of Jane Packer Limited and Chair of the Jane Packer Foundation, has commissioned his team to design a bespoke bouquet for the event. FleuraMetz will supply ingredients of the bouquet at a discounted price and donations from sales at participating UK florists will go to Brain Tumour Research.

Florists will also have the opportunity to enter into a social media competition for the most creative window display, encouraging customers to buy the beautiful Jane Packer bouquets. Winners will win tickets for the 2018 Chelsea Flower Show.

Brain Tumour Research will support the campaign with regional publicity and on social media.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer - yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to this devastating disease.
