As part of the celebration for its 200 year history the Botanic Garden opened this attraction called The Calyx, where different kind of exhibitions are being held. The exhibition that is currently being held is called 'All About Flowers' and this opened in May and will remain so until 30 July 2017 with a gold coin donation entry.
On the living wall or living mosaic, the Princettias were interspersed with other plants, like the ornamental sweet potato Ipomaea cultivars, Dichondra silver falls. Besides that, also five raised island beds were created. Each island having a limited combination of massed flowers, like Gerbera Daisy, Chrysanthemum, Moth Orchid, Dianthus, Cyclamen with Hydrangeas, Jacobaea, Maidenhair fern, Cymbidum Orchid, Phlebodium fern and Zygocactus.
