Royal FloraHolland closes Florists Clock sooner than expected

Sooner than expected, Royal FloraHolland are noticing that the buyers from the Florists Clock Naaldwijk are purchasing almost entirely online. This is often creating an imbalance between supply and demand, which is irresponsible. That is why the Florists Clock will be closing sooner than was planned. The last auction day will now be Friday, 11 August 2017.

Assisting the buyers from the Florists Clock Naaldwijk with finding another suitable purchasing channel has been successful. The figures show that the vast majority of buyers are already purchasing at the export clocks and/or FloraMondo Clock Presale.

The possibilities for digital and small-scale purchases at these marketplaces have been greatly improved, and we have made these platforms more accessible and cheaper to use. This allows the auction to offer an alternative to the Florists Clock.
