Germany: Spoga Gafa billboard for the Dutch grower

For years, the Spoga Gafa garden fair in Cologne has been very successful and this year it has one more attraction, the 'Green Solution Islands'. These islands served as inspiration for the 39,000 visitors, from 113 different countries. The fair is aimed at the garden centers and the large-scale retail.

According to John W. Herbert from Europe's DIY Retail Association (EDRA), the last edition was ‘the best Spoga Gafa’ ever. There were also more exhibitors than in previous years: 2,131 to be exact, from 59 countries.

In a collaboration with Oliver Mathys of 'I green you', Spoga Gafa presented these new inspirational islands, where also many Dutch growers and products sparkled. Under the titles 'Living with plants', 'All you can eat', 'Indoor gardening', 'Summer breeze' and 'From desert to design' were products from Addenda, Arendshoeve, Air So Pure, Smit Sappemeer, Fachjan, Special Plant Zundert, Edelcactus, Van Woudenberg Garden Plants, Amigra, Hoefnagels, Vreugdenhil (Pick & Joy), and Radder (Pure Aroma). In addition, participating growers could come into contact with buyers in the ‘Meet the Growers' lounge.
