NL: Plantion donates ten thousand euro to charity foundation

On the 11th of October, Plantion donated a check for ten thousand euro to the Gelderland region 'Stichting Ambulance Wens' (Ambulance wish foundation). This amount was collected by Plantion during activities to mark their hundredth anniversary. Stichting Ambulance Wens with its volunteers fulfills last wishes of severely ill people.

The check presentation took place in the auction hall of Plantion, halfway through the morning auction. Following an announcement by director Peter Bakker, Inge de Koning and Thijs Geuze made their way into an ambulance of the Stichting Ambulance Wens. Harry Beijer, grower in Huissen and Plantion board member, then handed the check to them. The delegates of the foundation were pleasantly surprised by the generous gift and said that it was an encouragement to continue the volunteer work for the foundation (www.ambulancewens.nl).
