However, for 2018, Fazlani foresees the demand increase. "Overall, the global Floriculture industry is in better shape than it was a few years ago. The forecast for the consumption of flowers appears to be good from 2017 and beyond."
For this reason, they are eager to expand markets and in order to achieve this, they are broadening their assortment of cut roses and are even trialling with new flowers.
Soex Flora's roses are grown in greenhouses that cover an area of over 30 ha in the central part of Maharashtra. They are currently mainly exporting to the UK, the Netherlands, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Japan; their major market.
In the coming years, they are eager to supply the Spanish, Danish and German market. We would like to focus on Spain, Denmark and Germany. "However, there is potential finding ways to increase sales in existing markets too", says Fazlani.
IFTF 2017
As part of their core marketing strategy to participate in Trade Fairs, Soex Flora will be present at the International Floricultural Horticulture Trade Fair in Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands. This show will be held from 8-10 November, 2017 and attracts people from the floriculture industry from all over the world. “We regularly participate in IFTF and we see a strong growth potential for our business as we remain committed to build long term sustainable, profitable growth. We are planning to venture into the Pot plant business and during the exhibition will look for/invite partners who can join hands/collaborate with us.
