Improving the production of rose plants in Serbia

On the occasion of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the department for fruit growing, viticulture, horticulture and landscape architecture, an expert and advisory conference titled "Innovations in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture" was held, where Pheno Geno had the opportunity to participate as a lecturer.



In addition to presentations held by colleagues from the Faculty and other companies, Pheno Geno Roses, represented by the Director General, Biljana Božanić-Tanjga, gave a lecture on "Improving the production of rose plants in Serbia in relation to the standards of the European Union".

Participants of the event had the opportunity to hear how to make a good business plan, what are the advantages and what are the disadvantages of rose production, and what are the differences in the regulations of Serbia and the European Union and how to harmonize them in order to achieve the widest possible distribution of quality seedlings on the market.
