US (CA): Ecuadorian roses at the Rose Parade

On January 1, a Southern California’s New Year’s tradition took place; the Rose Parade. Pasadena, in California, again hosted the show and floral-decorated floats rolled down the streets. Flowers from all over were used to beautify the floats and many awards were handed out.

One of the award winners is Downey Rose. Their Float "Working Together" won the Queen Award for most outstanding presentation of roses. All their roses originated from Ecuador and were supplied by Ecuador USA Roses Direct based in Cuenca, Ecuador and their farm partner Ecuatorian Flower.
