Governor P Sathasivam:

India: "Each family should take up floriculture"

Thiruvananthapuram: Governor P Sathasivam said that each family should take up floriculture. He said this while inaugurating the 'Vasantholsavam 2018' organized as part of Loka Kerala Sabha at Kanakakkunnu on Sunday.

"Global market requires around 90 crore orchid flowers. However, our country could contribute only below 10% of the global demand. Each family must participate in floriculture," said Sathasivam.
