Rosalink and Rose Connect join forces

As of 1st January 2018, rose trading companies Rosalink and Rose Connect have merged. Both businesses are based in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands.

In recent years, Rosalink has established a solid position in rose supply using growers in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Rose Connect, a part of Dutch Flower Group, has been particularly active doing business with growers in Kenya and Ethiopia. By joining forces, these two businesses aim to further strengthen their positions in East Africa.

Rose Connect’s activities will be transferred to Rosalink from the start of the new year. This will include all sales and marketing, which Rosalink will undertake as part of Dutch Flower Group. Erik Bruine de Bruin will lead Rosalink in the merged setup as Managing Director.

Erik Bruine de Bruin: "The combining of our two companies, complete with all our strong relationships with rose growers in East Africa, will enable us to operate even more powerfully. From the new Rosalink setup, we will be able to offer customers a broader and deeper rose supply proposition."
