Norway: Norgesplanter opens new tree nursery

Norgesplanter held a grand opening for their new nursery last month, for which Visser has delivered advanced tree nursery automation machines. Norgesplanter focuses on a sustainable future by protecting young trees against the notorious pine weevil by using an innovative waxing method instead of chemical pesticides.

For this project Norgesplanter needed state of the art technology, thus they selected Visser to supply the complete automation, from seeding up to delivery of the young trees. The line includes a camera grading system and a waxing-unit to protect young trees from insects.
