Florismart presents Floralism at IPM Essen

The digital platform Florismart presents, in cooperation with the FDF, Floralism. This new initiative ensures a stronger position for florists in the market. Go on a journey to a place with new technology, knowledge, inspiration and Hana Ike Flower Battles at the IPM Essen from the 23rd until the 26th of January.

Floralism, the floristry movement
Floralism is a new initiative founded by Florismart and the FDF (Fachverband Deutscher Floristen). It’s an initiative with the aim to prepare florists for an innovative future. New technology, knowledge and inspiration are the core aspects. Florismart lets florists experience in an interactive way how efficient online shopping is possible via the online platform. The FDF shows in an exhibition area that flowers are an art form in itself.

Hana Ike Flower Battles
On the 23rd and 24th of January, Florismart and FDF organise Hana Ike Flower Battles at the IPM Essen for the first time. These flower battles originated in Japan and are short battle rounds with a high level of creativity. In a few minutes the young florists participating create flower arrangements with flowers from the Floralism trend collection. On the second day of the competition, the finalists will compete for the title. The program host for this competition is award-winning florist Victoria Salomon.

Buying online via Florismart
Florismart is a digital marketplace which gives florists the opportunity to buy different products from different suppliers. Growers and exporters can decide which products they would like to offer, for what price and the amount. Florismart makes sure that everything is being delivered in one order.
