HBA showcases new hydrangeas at IPM Essen

Hydrangea Breeders Association presents three hydrangea novelties at the IPM in Essen: Double Pink, Green Lips and Sarena will be shown in their booth (1B29 in hall 1), as well as in the Novelty Window in hall 1A.

HBA novelties Green Lips, Green Lips purple, Double Pink, Sarena pink and Sarena blue

Double Pink is characterized by its dense double flowers and strong stems. The compact growth, good branching and pink flower colour complete this new pot hydrangea.

With the new bicolour Green Lips the demand for special colour combinations has been fulfilled by HBA: the various shades of pink and green make Green Lips a unique mophead hydrangea. After blue colouring the Green Lips purple shows a combination of purple shades and green. When developing throughout the blooming season the flower colour changes more and more into green. Green Lips has good garden and patio performance.

The new large flowered mophead hydrangea Sarena pink (and Sarena blue) is an easy branching variety. Sarena is suitable for blueing and for early production as well. Because of the large sepals, the pink and blue flowers are very attractive. The compact, rounded plant shape makes it an extra advantage for hydrangea growers.
