NL: Life-size presentation of first Intratuin food hall

Thermoflor is going to present a life-size model of the new food hall of the Breda branch of the Intratuin chain of garden centres at the Garden Retail Experience, which will take place in the Dutch town of Nieuwegein on 7 and 8 February. Breda is the first location in the Netherlands where Intratuin has applied this new entrance concept.

The food hall offers a broad range of fresh fruit & vegetables and meat, supplied by regional specialists. The wide diversity and good quality of the products boost interaction with the customers. Intratuin Breda has observed ever more garden centre visitors shopping at its food hall since it opened at the end of 2017. The food hall is situated in a strategically smart position, twice along the visitors’ route; they encounter it both when they enter and when they leave the garden centre.

New entrance optimally utilised
The food hall is established in the new 1000 m2 entrance, which has been completely refurbished to accommodate it. Thermoflor realised the refurbishment, which was designed by Breddels Architecten. An extra floor with an area of 500 m2 enables the entrance to also accommodate an information desk, the cash desks, a coffee corner, a flower shop and the offices. The Haan Group was responsible for the entrance’s interior design.
