Shay Lhermann of Aviv Harmonie:

"Rey finally makes its world appearance"

A new intergeneric cross between chamelaucium and verticordia has recently been put on the market. The variety in question is named "Rey" and is bred by Israeli breeder Nir Nursery, grown in Israel and distributed exclusively across the globe as an Aviv-Harmonie flower.

Rey

Rey is a new variety and completely different to a wax flower; "the branch structures, leaves and flowers are completely different from what many probably know for a wax flower", says Lhermann. The flower is big with a fuchsia pink color and the flowers last for about 2 to 3 months.

The variety is available in limited quantities from now until May.
