UK: Indoor Garden Design, with IKEA, to exhibit at Chelsea

Award-winning Indoor Garden Design announces Plants Work, an innovative open-plan home office installation, situated within the Discovery area of The Grand Pavilion at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The exhibit demonstrates the beauty of plants in the home and working environment, and highlights their scientifically-proven health benefits.

The open-plan home office comprises a working and meeting area, showcasing plants as an essential and highly versatile part of the design – harnessing the green power of nature to provide screening, focal points, visual interest and a healthier working environment. The installation will incorporate current trends in house plants, showing how to use the right plant for the right place, and there will be a host of information on the science behind our love of plants and the ways in which they boost wellbeing, health and productivity.

Plants Work is co-created with IKEA, in celebration of the beauty of horticulture within the home workspace.

Ian Drummond, Creative Director of Indoor Garden Design says: "This is the second year that we have co-created an installation with IKEA at RHS Chelsea and we’re delighted. This year, the focus is on the home office, which is very timely for the way we live and work today.

Plants Work is a celebration of plants in the home workspace and visitors to our stand will be inspired – not only do these plants look visually beautiful, but they positively impact on productivity, health and wellbeing too."

Marcos Tejedor, Sales leader for plants and home decoration at IKEA UK & Ireland says: “We’re thrilled to be returning to RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018 with Indoor Garden Design.

There’s a continuing trend for bringing a feeling of the outside in, and we’re looking forward to sharing our unique insights into life at home with visitors, as well as tips to help them bring the look and benefits of plants into their own homes.”
