UK: Bombing victim to get remembrance rose

A campaign has been launched to create a unique new rose in memory of Saffie-Rose Roussos - the youngest person to die in the Manchester Arena bombing.

Saffie’s mum, Lisa Roussos, has contacted the Royal Horticultural Society about the rose which she hopes will be a ‘beautiful and fitting tribute’.

Mourners at Saffie’s funeral - the last of the 22 funerals to be held - carried a single red rose in her memory.

A crowdfunding appeal on the JustGiving website for £10,000 has now been launched by the family. The campaign would see Saffie’s roses sold for charity.
