HortEx Vietnam comes to an end - what did you miss?

Around 3 pm local time, the first edition of the HortEx Vietnam came to an end today. What did you miss if you weren't there?

At the exhibition, many orchid growers presented themselves and showed great interest in both the Vietnamese market and other markets surrounding the country. They are starting to work on their own brands to get more contact with the end customer and to create a more recognizable product.

Eva Liao of Shulong Flowers Industry - a forerunner in Taiwanese orchid production. Their products are exported broadly and were photographed a lot during the exhibition.

Holland Bulb Market will be celebrating their 150th birthday this year! The special logo was presented in Vietnam.

Suppliers present
With floriculture flourishing in and around Da Lat, Vietnamese production is of great interest to suppliers as well. They were offering plant beneficials, growing systems and crop protection products on the exhibition.

Suppliers presented several solutions for upgrading water control. "We understand the need for controllable water quality since we have been doing business here via distributors for many years", Simon Jones of Genap explained. "We can support the growers in biosecurity, secure water management and water treatment and help them with rain water harvesting. This way they can grow a more safe and better crop."

The rainbow colored flowers of Royal Flowers attracted many cameras. The company was present to open new markets.

On Monday we'll bring you a full photo report of the first HortEx Vietnam!
