September 6-8, Warsaw

Flower Expo Poland has new owner

The third edition of the trade show Flower Expo Poland will be realized also this year at the same time as the trade show Green is Life. Both shows are scheduled for 6-8 September. New is the fact that both shows will be organized by Agencja Promocji Zieleni (APZ); the promotional organization of Polish Nurserymen. The ownership of the Flower Expo Poland has been taken over by APZ, which for 25 years has been the organizer of Green is Life.

Polish market
The Floral Agency, the former owner of this show, decided to stop its activities in this field due to organizational reasons at the agency itself. However, the agency is very happy that APZ can continue the Flower Expo Poland because Poland is a very promising country for the floral sector. The sales from Holland are increasing significantly and Poland had moved last year from the 6th to the 5th place of most important sales markets worldwide. And is still going up. The economy is promising, the income of the Polish is increasing, and this results in a change of behaviour: there is more budget available for ‘luxury products’ like flowers and plants. On top of that, research on consumer behaviour in eight European countries in 2014 shows that the Polish are fonder of flowers and plants than any other nation in Europe.

Participate
APZ will start the acquisition next week. Because of the synergy there will be a price advantage for the future participants of the Flower Expo Poland.
