Specialists on plant quarantine of the Sakhalin department of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance have identified a batch of flowers infected with western flower trips in Yuzhno-Sahalinsk. Trips are regarded as a quarantine object in Russia.
The flowers arrived to the regional center from Moscow. According to the instruction issued by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, 380 chrysanthemums were destroyed, reports information agency Sakh.com with reference to the press service of the Federal Service.
