BloomyPro to present innovations at the world’s largest industrial trade show

Young Tech Enterprises (Hannover Messe), the world’s largest industrial trade show, is the place where Eric Egberts will be launching BloomyPro’s new innovation, BloomyPro Florist, with an entirely new platform specially developed to unite florists and their craft with customers. At their stand they will also be presenting BloomyPro’s 3D Floral Design platform, which is well known in the world of flowers. Moreover, BloomyPro will be introducing another new development at this trade show: the Flower Recognition App, which will support both platforms.

3D Floral Design Platform for retailers

‘It goes without saying that we’ll be presenting our famous platform, which sees us using 3D technology to integrate and visualize everything from the creation and sale of bouquets to managing e-commerce and/or shop displays for the flower industry’, says Eric Egberts.

‘At present, this platform is primarily being used by breeders, growers and flower wholesalers. Retailers (large supermarkets) are also starting to work through BloomyPro. In Hanover we’re targeting the major retailers.’ The founder and owner of BloomyPro explains: ‘This special technology is used to optimize the bouquet selection process online. Putting together and selecting bouquets digitally saves a lot of time during the buying process. The retailer subsequently posts the range of bouquets put together in the 3D shop floor display to optimize the shelf and admire it from all angles.’

BloomyPro offers retailers many more possibilities. Such as instructing the shop assistant and analysing sales data (which bouquet is selling best, etc.).

BloomyPro Florist: the platform for florists
BloomyPro will also be launching a new platform for florists at the Hannover Messe. Here, it will be possible to see the entirely fleshed-out Bobbie Rose concept, which uses BloomyPro Florist. This platform was specially developed for the online sale of bouquets created by local specialist florists.

Bobbie Rose enables florists to offer their own creations online. The consumer chooses direct from the local florist’s stock. ‘We believe in the florist’s craft and want to make it accessible to a wide audience. Bobbie Rose is the online concept that unites florist and consumer.’

The Bobbie Rose concept is a new one in the world of flowers. ‘If you want something to compare it with, consider a platform like Deliveroo’, explains Eric.

Flower Recognition App
‘We’re currently developing the Flower Recognition App with the aid of Machine Learning’, explains Eric. ‘We’re making life easier and making it possible to relive current experiences in 3D. This image recognition application will support the BloomyPro platform and Bobbie Rose.’

‘How great is it when you as the consumer receive a bouquet that you’re so happy with that you want another one in your vase? So you scan the bouquet, the florist’s “recipe” tells you what flowers this design contains and you place an order.’ BloomyPro’s founder and owner talks passionately about the development of these ideas, which are now a reality.

Visitors to the stand at the Young Tech Enterprises trade show will be able to try out this app now.

Dutch trade mission
Young Tech Enterprises is the trade show within the Hannover Messe for innovative start-ups and young tech firms to connect with interesting major parties such as investors, retailers and e-commerce parties.

BloomyPro will be participating in Young Tech Enterprises as part of the Dutch economic mission being organized by the Dutch government (RVO). ‘Together with other Dutch start-ups, we’re part of the Holland Start-up Pavilion. Prince Constantijn will even be part of the mission.

His presence will make it easier to establish contacts with major parties. ‘Having the Dutch prince’s name on the invitations that the RVO is sending out to new development partners, investors and customers on our behalf will present even more opportunities. Fostering such connections is the aim of the mission.’ Eric is proud that his company has been selected to form part of this mission and so he is eager to make the most of this opportunity to establish new contacts.
