Since the Polish economy is the fastest growing in the EU, the country’s demand for luxury goods is significantly growing, too. The Polish market of cut flowers has increased by 23% in the last two years and the export from the Netherlands to Poland in Q1 2017 has increased by 30%. Poland has moved from the 6th to the 5th place on the list of most important export countries. Almost 40 million consumers are particularly fond of plants and flowers.
Facts and figures
- 17,000 guests from 40 countries (over 7,000 professionals representing producers, wholesalers, retailers, DIY and florists) visited Flower Expo Poland & Green is Life in 2017.
- 45 exhibitors from different countries participated in the last edition of Flower Expo Poland.
- Poland is the place where the roads of international trade connect and an important transfer market to Eastern Europe countries like Belarus and the Baltic states.

New organizer
The Flower Expo Poland has been taken over by APZ – Agencja Promocji Zieleni, the promotional organization of Polish Nurserymen, and will be organized together with the Green is Life International Exhibition (that is held for the 26th time this year).
