Farm to table: not just for food

When you think farm to table, the first thing that comes to mind probably isn’t flowers. But BloomsyBox is trying to change that thought process by sharing an inside view of their process. The first step of bringing blooms to your doorstep starts at the source with flower farm partners.

Here’s how the process works at a glance:
  1. Flowers are grown on farms around the globe. BloomsyBox sources blooms from growers around the world. Most flowers are shipped directly from places like South America, Holland, and California (to name a few).
  2. Farm partners cut the flowers and ship them directly to doorsteps. While other flower delivery companies typically come with an 8-10 day turnaround on their bouquets, BloomsyBox say theirs arrive a whole lot sooner – with no middle-man taking time (or money) to package and ship flowers. Each arrangement is hand-cut, assembled, and hand-tied right on the farm before being shipped directly to consumers.
  3. Flowers arrive within 2-4 days of being cut from the farms, which means they often haven’t even reached full bloom yet by the time consumers get them.
