September 24-26, Raleigh

US (NC): ASCFG celebrates 30 years at National Conference

The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers will hold its National Conference and Trade Show September 24-26, 2018 at the North Raleigh Hilton in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The event will kick off with a one-day Growers’ School at Sassafras Fork Farm, with sessions directed at new and beginning cut flower growers. Two more days of workshops continue at the hotel, ranging from introduction of new varieties and postharvest handling, to discussion of legal and financial business considerations, soils, and specific crop production.

Farm tours, a trade show, and a floral design competition for attendees will also be included. There will be plenty of time for one-on-one time with the speakers, as well as networking with growers from across North America.
