Garden roses from Roses Forever may sound like something new, as the innovative rose breeding company is known for its potted mini roses.
But about 15 years ago rose breeder Rosa Eskelund decided to include garden roses in the program.
Now, several varieties have entered the market and even divided into several series.
Plant'n'relax is the name of one of Rosa's garden roses that also include several medal winners for both health and scent.
I am Grateful / Our Last Summer
Award winning rosesThe rose 'I am Grateful' is a Floribunda which won a gold medal in Germany in 2015 and the Bronze in 2018 in Monaco. 'I am Grateful' is a winner in health and it keeps well also in a rainy summer. 'I am Grateful' is easy to grow/force in pots, as it is naturally compact.
Another of Rosa Eskelund's prized roses is the climbing rose 'Our Last Summer' that won in Belgium 2014 for the best scented rose. With its scent, 'Our Last Summer' has already become a bestseller.

"It takes about 10 years to develop and select a good and healthy garden rose", Rosa tells us. Breeding and selection is an on-going process so every year there are new potentials in testing.
The garden roses are tested for 6 years on fields in Denmark and Holland, and from here they are selected for the market.
