British Flowers Week at the Garden Museum

Started by the Flower Market at New Covent Garden Market in 2013, British Flowers Week is an annual celebration of the wealth and variety of British cut flowers and foliage. British Flowers Week shines a spotlight on British flowers, working with independent florists and the wider flower industry to show what they’re made of.

British flowers and foliage are enjoying a long-awaited resurgence in popularity. Buyers are increasingly demanding more locally grown produce to celebrate the seasons and support British growers.

This year British Flowers Week has partnered with the Garden Museum, and visitors to the Museum during the week will see designs by six innovative floral designs installed in the nave of the Garden Museum.

Installation of the designs will be taking place on Monday 18th June, and will be on display during the Museum’s opening hours until Sunday 24th June.
