NOT YET NL: Latest chrysanthemum varieties at Dekker's Chrysanthemum Valley

Japanese flower growers and traders admired the chrysanthemum varieties of the future at Dekker Chrysanten in Hensbroek, The Netherlands, on June 11. The North Holland breeding company was renamed Chrysanthemum Valley, and during this event they presented the very latest in chrysanthemum developments to the world.

There is a lot of international interest in the new two-tone paint technique used on the single-flowered chrysanthemum 'Kennedy'. The white flowers can be transformed into any desired two-tone color combination. The dyeing process is environmentally friendly and has no negative impact on the shelf life of the popular cut flower. During the flowering trials in Hensbroek, The Netherlands, interested parties from 20 countries are expected to visit.
