Agastache Poquito Dark Blue has purple-blue, flowery spikes that bloom throughout the summer. This fast-developing perennial most actively grows in the spring.
U.S.D.A. Hardiness Zones for Agastache Poquito Dark Blue are five to 10, and the variety offers the ability for full-sun exposure. Mature plant height is 10”, with a width of 14”, and an extended flower height of 14”.
Special uses allow the new variety to be a multi-purpose garden plant in the Deep South. The fragrant Agastache Poquito Dark Blue makes a great cut flower. The plant is deer-resistant, and it serves as a hummingbird and pollinator attractor. It is drought tolerant once established. Colorful companions include Terra Nova Nurseries’ Heuchera ‘Cherry Cola’, Coreopsis ‘Citrine’ and Kniphofia ‘Lemon Popsicle’.
