‘Flower Council of Holland’ and ‘Blumen - 1000 gute Gründe’ set the mood

The initiatives ‘Flower Council of Holland’ and ‘Blumen - 1000 gute Gründe’ (Landgard) are constantly developing themes that can be used to surprise customers and campaigns that aim at increasing turnover. Since 1 July 2018, Veiling Rhein-Maas collects a levy for generic promotion from the auction customers which is passed on to the above mentioned initiatives.

Ideas, questions and promotion material
On Wednesday 11 July, the two initiatives presented themselves to the customers of the auction in the foyer of Veiling Rhein-Maas in Straelen-Herongen. During the break and after the auction, many customers took the opportunity to chat with the employees who are responsible for the initiatives, sharing their views and ideas. The highlight videos shown in the foyer and the auction room gave customers an overview of the different activities organized by ‘Flower Council of Holland’ and ‘Blumen - 1000 gute Gründe’ in recent years. Both initiatives make free promotional material available to customers, such as photographs for downloading, posters and cards which help to persuade the end consumers at the point-of-sale. A range of promotion material has already been placed in the foyer ready to be picked up.

Blumen - 1000 gute Gründe
When German film stars sit on a floral sofa on the occasion of the German Film Prize, festival visitors queue for floral wreaths, or when Gardener Tristan inspires his followers on YouTube, it is always the work of ‘Blumen - 1000 gute Gründe’. The Landgard initiative stimulates demand for flowers and plants with fresh new ideas.

Flower Council of Holland
The ‘Flower Council of Holland’ takes care of the consumer-oriented promotion of flowers and plants in various European countries. With campaigns such as ‘Houseplant of the Month’, ‘Garden Plant of the Month’ and the ‘Flower Agenda’, new flowers and plants are placed in the spotlight every month. ‘Flower Council of Holland’ provides photographic material, texts, posters and graphics free of charge for your business.
