Flower Expo Ukraine starts social project
Flower Expo Ukraine has been laying the foundation of a culture of relationships between people and plants during all years of its existence. It also promoted foreign companies on the Ukrainian market, introduced new flower sorts for Ukrainians etc. And now it’s time for them to incarnate these developments, they say.
Flower Council of Ukraine initializes a new social project, “Flowers are the energy of life”. It will be started on the grand opening of Flower Expo Ukraine 2016. This project is going to start with the program “Bouquet-portrait”.
Florists of the best Ukrainian flower companies will create an exclusive personal portrait in flowers, a ‘bouquet-portrait’. During the presentation of bouquets florists will give comments about the reasons for their choices: why did they choose these particular flowers, forms, shapes and decors. All visitors to the exhibition will have a chance to see aesthetic possibilities of flowers with their own eyes.
The main idea of the whole project is to explain to people that it is very important to keep an everyday connection with the world of plants for supporting mental and physical health. Popular and successful women who share the idea and want to present it among the public will promote this project in the press, news media, social networks etc.
There will also be a bouquet contest, “Improvisation in roses”, at the Flower Expo Ukraine 2016. The contest will be organized by International Floristic Academy of Natalia Aheeva and Flower Council of Ukraine. Sponsorship is provided by “Ascania-Flora” – the largest Ukrainian company which produces roses. It has 22 ha greenhouse area where they are growing a wide range of roses.
