NL: BVB Substrates builds new mixing line for orchids

BVB Substrates has been supplying substrates for years for the cultivation of orchids. To give customers greater certainty and uniformity, a new mixing line is currently being made. In the design of the mixing line they want to minimize the actions in making the mixture, to achieve the highest quality possible. That's because each action leads to further refining, which is not desirable.

BVB Substrates has been using more raw materials over the past few years to supply a good controllable substrate for the plant and the customer. Each raw material will be given its own way of dosing/place in the mixing line. This way, the production stays flexible and the quality is guaranteed.

The planning is that the mixing line will be ready to be used mid-June. Until then the mixes will be produced with procedures familiar to the customers.
