NL: Dekker Chrysanten has major plans for expansion

Dekker Chrysanten has major plans for expansion in Hensbroek. The company initially requires 5ha of land for the construction of new greenhouses and on the long run more land to add to it. This is evident from project plans that the breeder has submitted to the municipality, so reports the Noord-Hollands Dagblad.

With this plans, heavy investments will also be needed. In the short term 10 million already has been released. In the long term, up to 2025 an additional 22 million will be required.

The investments also cover plans for dismantling obsolete greenhouses, making the logistics / expedition future proof and creating sufficient parking space for own staff. Although a true multinational - Dekker has several establishments in Africa and South America and worldwide 1,300 people on the payroll - main center of activities (breeding) is Hensbroek. And that must remain so, the company said.
