US (VA): DVFG opens Richmond distribution center
Operating out of a 10,000 sq ft facility, the Sales and Distribution Center covers a new territory for DVFG including Richmond, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and surrounding areas. This newest Sales & Distribution Center is strategically located near access to I-295, I-95, and I-64, as well as the Richmond International Airport. The Richmond facility is designed to improve service level commitments to DVFG’s growing customer base in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic areas, and positions the company for further geographic expansion.
Jack Chidester stated: "We are thrilled to be part of this geographic region and marketplace. We are excited to bring the proven DV model of one of the largest selections of fresh farm-direct flowers, floral supplies and botanicals, the ability to order later in the day, and provide consistent early delivery to best serve our customers in this area.”

The Richmond management team includes: Territory Sales Manager - Keith Smith, with 26 years in the industry, and Distribution Manager, Keith Eaton, with 27 years experience in distribution.
