Garden Orchid season has begun

It is cold outside in Holland, the breeding home of Garden Orchid, the temperature stays beneath zero degrees Celsius this week. Garden Orchid is not frightened by these temperatures, this orchid easily defies ice cold days of minus 15 degrees Celsius.

Garden Orchid, to date known for the popular and exclusive Cypripedium, has been expanded with new family members: Pleione, Cypripedium, Calanthe and Blettila. You can create endless variations with these real garden orchids.

The new varieties differ in flower shape, colour and plant height, but all are suited for a shady spot in the garden. The Garden Orchids are real spring bloomers and most of them flower between April and June. In all cases, every spring they become bigger, stronger and even better.

At the IPM in Essen (January 24-27, 2017), Anthura presents the new Garden Orchid line.
