IPM Essen training day helps pupils in job orientation

The "green associations" and the Messe Essen implement their activities in the canvassing of the up-and-coming generation at the International Plant Fair in Essen. Experts will inform the guests about the gardening or floristry training and will give the young people tips and brief insights into the diversity of the "green sector". Short films will put the visitors in the right mood and will make them curious about what makes the training in horticulture and floristry so attractive.

Practice instead of dry theory. On ten special practice stations, any interested pupils will be able to experience in a playful way what things are dealt with in the training.

Anybody looking for a new job or conversely for a new employee will be supported by the Jobs Wall for Green Careers at IPM Essen. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to place job requests and offers in the national and international garden sectors there free of charge (Hall 4A, all the days of the fair).

From 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, the motto in the South Congress Centre will again be "I LOVE GREEN - Training Day". At the event, pupils from Classes 8, 9 and 10 at mainstream schools will be provided with extensive information about the gardener and florist occupations.
