January 24-27, 2017 in Essen, Germany:

Three new Javo machines at IPM Essen

Javo will introduce three new machines at this year’s IPM at stand 3D43. Two are already available and the third will be available during 2017.

Javo Standard 2.0 potting machine
The Javo Standard 2.0 is a completely optimized potting machine. The previous model, Javo Standaard, has proven its capabilities during the last 50 years. We have been able to combine those five decades of experience in this new potting machine and made it ready for the future. The Javo Standard 2.0 can be fully adjusted to the customer’s needs: every part is adjustable, from the silent soil supply up to the completely redesigned pot take off.

The fully modified pot track drive moves the pots smoothly through the machine and the extended stop time of the pot gives peace during the workflow. An automatic tensioning system always keeps the pot track chain in proper tension. And because the adjustable control panel is placed above the pot track, there is also a generous work space around the machine.

The extended version of the Javo Standard 2.0 can easily be connected to a transplanter, with a possible capacity up to 8.000 pots per hour (in case of 1 plant per pot). For an optimum cooperation and speed the PLC controls of the two systems are linked and communicate with each other. The combined version can be seen on the stand of TTA (Hall GA, booth 10)

Javo PPU 2.0 push over unit:
The compact and accurate Javo PPU 2.0 automatically places pots and trays onto trolleys. An ideal solution for nurseries and greenhouses with longer distances between their different departments. The controlled elevator movement keeps the pot upright. It prevents pots from falling over during the movement and also ensures that larger and higher plants do not get entangled. With its touchscreen with 50 program options, the Javo PPU 2.0 can easily be converted to (for example) another pot size. It makes this machine very user-friendly.

Javo Ultra potting machine
The purpose of the new type of potting machine is to process very large pots up to 55cm and be able to drill holes up to 300mm. The machine is still being extensively tested at the moment, but we can show the first videos on our stand. The Javo Ultra will be available during 2017.
