Veiling Rhein-Maas: Growth in imported potted plants

Veiling Rhein-Maas has nineteen potted plant suppliers from Italy, seven from Spain and one supplier from Greece. The growth in turnover of the Italian suppliers has been very positive. Veiling Rhein-Maas is currently developing plans to find new potted plant suppliers in Spain during 2018, as the growth in turnover from Spanish suppliers has decreased a little in the last few years. The Assortment Management and Clock Service departments will increase the number of direct purchases from potted plant importers in 2017.

Overall, turnover for imported potted plants is showing good growth. In 2016, Veiling Rhein-Maas processed a total of 2,700 CC containers of imported potted plants. In 2017, Veiling Rhein-Maas is expecting to process 3,000 CC containers.
