Discover the sales opportunities Poland has to offer

Poland offers economic growth and market opportunities. If you would like to know what opportunities this market offers the floriculture sector, Royal FloraHolland invites you to join the study tour of Warsaw in Poland on 6 and 7 April 2017.



In recent years, the Polish economy has experienced considerably stronger growth than EU countries within the Euro zone. This trend is forecast to continue in the coming years.

Understanding the Polish floricultural market
The trip is designed for growers and customers that target new markets. The trip will be combined with a visit to the Green Days fair in Warsaw. During this trip, participants will follow the entire chain, from plant breeding to retail and the consumer.

Poland study tour program
The study tour includes the following activities:
  • Visiting several sales channels for various flower and plant species
  • Seeing how flowers are used in arrangements and bouquets in Poland
  • Visiting a large market for flowers and plants
  • Visiting supermarkets, local flower markets and small flower stalls
  • Gaining insight into doing business with Polish entrepreneurs and the opportunities
  • Visiting the Green Days fair on 7 April 2017
In a small group, you will visit several sales channels for two days and you can see how things work in the chain. You'll get a good impression of the development of the Polish market by talking to:
  • Growers
  • Florists
  • Wholesalers
  • Garden center employees
You'll also gain insight into product flows, the role of plants and flowers in the retail channel, consumer behavior and market opportunities.
