New helleborus in ‘Joie de vivre’ series

Het Wilgenbroek enjoyed a very busy IPM Essen. Here they were showing the new Helleborus ‘Valentina’ which is new in the ‘Joie de vivre’ series. This is a red flowering Helleborus orientalis, with Valentine's Day in mind.

Flower for Spring Gardens
The plant is bred by Het Wilgenbroek and distributed by Microflor, in the same way as Victoria. It is a very strong garden plant that brings flower into the spring garden. This Helleborus can also be used for decoration indoors or on the balcony/terrace where it will flower for more than one month.

Helleborus niger ‘Mon Blanc’ flowers from October until March and has very big white flowers above its beautiful green leaves.

Het Wilgenbroek's Thierry Van Paemel commented: “This is the first good garden Helleborus niger for the garden. An ideal plant which is also very good for either balcony or terrace. It can even be used as a cut flower.

Helleborus niger ‘Mon Blanc’ is a selection of Het Wilgenbroek and also sold both as a young and flowering plant by this Belgian based breeder.
