NL: 100% recycled plastic plant markers on the way

As a sustainable alternative to plastic plant markers, Elburg-Smit will start offering 100% recycled plastic ones very soon.

"The recycled markers are of the same high quality as the ordinary plastic ones," says Linda van den Berg, marketer at Elburg-Smit, a supplier of packaging and labels. "They work the same, are waterproof and can be printed on in full color. After use they can be recycled again."

"A sustainable label gives products in the floriculture sector an extra green factor. The marker can be recognized by the unique Elburg-Smit '100% recycled material' logo. With this step we want to take our social responsibility and contribute to sustainable thinking and manufacturing."
