Grower in the spotlight: the garden roses from Rosenhof Odendahl

"We grow a versatile assortment of roses in containers for the garden, the balcony or the terrace. The auction clock is for us a 'shop window' where we present our new products," says Franz Josef Odendahl, who heads the family business. In the new ‘Anlieferer im Rampenlicht’ (Suppliers in the Limelight) video, Veiling Rhein-Maas introduces Rosenhof Odendahl from Neuss (Germany).

Nostalgia a customer favorite
On an acreage of two hectares under glass and plastic tunnels and on 3.5 hectares of open field, the company grows around 500,000 rose containers with more than 300 rose varieties a year. With customers of the auction, the fragrant rose variety Nostalgia is especially popular, with its white/red contrast.

Feedback for further development
In addition to the auction clock, Franz Josef Odendahl sells his products all year round also via the clock service from Veiling Rhein-Maas. "We also always send current product photos along because we think it is important that customers get a good impression of the products that are offered. I regularly discuss with customers to find out what it is they like and what they do not. That is important, in order to further develop the company and to always uphold the quality as well as the offered assortment at a high level," says Franz Josef Odendahl.
