Brandkamp shows off new Jollies and Tropic Lantana

During the Flower Trials in week 24, German breeder and propagator Brandkamp showed off a wide range from its assortment, along with novelties in chrysanthemums, bedding plants and cut flowers.

Since many years Fuchsias and Lantanas have been one of the main points in the Brandkamp breeding program. The Fuchsia range "Jollies" and the Lantana range "Tropic Lantana" has proven popular in Europe and beyond.

A few of new Jollies varieties will be introduced for the new assortment 2018/2019, all of which were shown during the Flower Trials. The main ones are:

Jollies Biarritz, upright growing with filled red/white flowers. Like all Jollies with a very good branching, many buds and an attractive shape. In the segment of filled flower Fuchsias, Jollies Biarritz flowers very early.

Jollies Revel, with red/deep violet flowers. The half-filled flowers stand on an upright growing shape.

Jollies Trailing Rodez, semi-trailing with white/cherry flowers, early flowering, useful for baskets and pots as well.

Jollies Trailing Grenoble features many smaller pink/violet flowers that fill a trailing growing plant, also useful for pots and baskets.

The Tropic Lantana range gets two new varieties, after the three new varieties from last season.

Tropic Lantana Bamboo, clear yellow, larger flowers. Like all Tropic Lantanas, Bamboo grows compact and performs a lot of shoots. Bamboo is good to use for all pot sizes from small (11 cm pot) to big (17 cm pot).

Tropic Lantana Ara, colourful like the tropical bird with pink/creme/ivory larger flowers. Useful for many kinds of product forms, like bigger and smaller pots.
