New Veiling Rhein-Maas management as of 1 September 2018

On 1 September 2018 Franz-Willi Honnen and Cees Hoekstra will take over the management of Veiling Rhein-Maas ad interim.

Franz-Willi Honnen, who has been Managing Director of Landgard Blumen & Pflanzen GmbH since 2013, will assume the role of Spokesman and Cees Hoekstra, currently Manager Digital Auctioning at Royal FloraHolland, will be responsible for the Commerce division.

After the departure of Uwe Bedenbecker, the two experienced managers will be jointly responsible for the operational management of Veiling Rhein-Maas and supported by a three-person management team. As of September 1 2018, Marc Schax will assume the lead in the Administration department of the auction as an authorized signatory. In addition, Wim Habets will be appointed to the top management level as Commerce Manager. Christian Witte remains Logistics Manager.

Based on the successful development of Veiling Rhein-Maas, Landgard and Royal FloraHolland, together with Franz-Willi Honnen and Cees Hoekstra, will define the building blocks of the successful further development of the joint venture in a strategy review and on this basis also the future permanent appointment of the management board.
