UK: Spotlight on plastic use in horticulture

The BBC Gardeners World team recently featured an item on the widespread use of plastic pots within the horticultural industry – both commercially and in retail garden centres.

To highlight the most common of practices within retail horticulture, the GW team visited Lovania's head office and quizzed Production Director Paul Rossington on Lovania’s current plastic usage, recycling and research plans into alternatives.

You can catch Episode 25 (aired 21 September 2018) for the next 27 days on BBC Iplayer – from approximately 8 minutes and 20 seconds in.
