In the spring of 2018, a change at the helm took place at ITB Climate, as CEO Sjaak van der Linden was replaced by Jan Nauta. Nauta had until then acted as COO for the company since 2015. As Toon van der Laar had stepped down in 2016 already, this makes Nauta the sole general director of the company. The management of ITB Climate further consists of Jia Xiangyu (FendyTech CFO) and Bai Jungang (FendyTech CEO) of parent company FendyTech.
Sjaak van der Linden, who joined the management of ITB Climate in 2004, works on location at ITB Climate for two days per week as R&D manager. This allows him to remain involved, and the organization can continue to benefit from his specialist knowledge and extensive network. Sjaak also continues as general manager of his other company IndiEco, importer of biomass heaters that since 2016 has been completely independent of ITB Climate. In addition, Sjaak plans to reduce his workload in order to go traveling with his wife Marian.
Jan Nauta received an horticultural education and technical training in his younger years, after which he gained experience in various positions within the paper industry. Over the years, Jan has gone through various positions such as team leader, production manager, head of technical service, project manager engineering and others. After following several management courses and a study in business administration, he developed into interim business manager in Slovakia and European project manager before joining ITB Climate.
Commercial department expansion
"We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you about the expansion of our commercial department," ITB continues. "Ben Bloksma already joined as International Sales Manager at ITB Climate in 2017. Before that, he worked as a climate specialist for industrial installations for many years, and is responsible for managing the sales team and for making contact with international clients."
In addition, Dave Sikkink started as Area Sales Manager at ITB Climate on June 1. Dave has more than 20 years of experience with a manufacturer of air scrubbers and therefore has a lot of knowledge of the market and the company's products. Dave will mainly focus on the Dutch, Belgian and German markets.
