Last Saturday was the festive opening of the new Irk Flowers building in Irkutsk, Russia. Irk Flowers is the largest importer in the region and is seeing constant growth, so it was high time for a new building. The current building is almost bursting at the seams due to the number of flowers and plants that are sold every week. With the likely prospect of a better March 8 next year, the new building will be right on time.
According to John Elsgeest from Flower Circus, the opening was a listening experience combined with a flower show. "Florists from all over the region came to the opening, with some even traveling nearly 1,000 km to attend."
Flower Circus inspired and entertained more than 200 florists with flowers from Special Orchids, Dutch Green Center, vd Lugt Lisianthus, the Opstal, Florein Gerbera, Amaryllisinfo.eu, Zentoo, Deliflor, Imanse and Beyond Chrysanthemum. During the show Martin made various arrangements and bouquets, and he shared tips and tricks on how to sell even better and more flowers.
The building still has to be constructed, but the concrete floor has been poured.
