December 6, Naaldwijk

Royal FloraHolland to hold last General Members’ Meeting in current format

The General Members’ Meeting at Royal FloraHolland will take place on 6 December. During this meeting, the intermediate results for 2018 will be presented. Voting for candidates for the Members’ Council and the rates for 2019 will take place. This GMM is the last meeting to take place in this shape and format.

The Members' Council, which will consist of approximately 40 members, will use strategic themes to actively hold discussions with the Management Board and the Supervisory Board. It will also hold member sessions with the members. The Members' Council will serve as a link between these parties and it represents the 4,000+ members of the cooperative.

Member sessions
Member sessions will be organized in weeks 46, 47 and 48 in the run-up to this GMM. In these sessions, information will be provided about the selection process and the candidates for the Members' Council and about the rates for 2019.

Cast your vote
You can cast your vote in various ways. During the General Members' Meeting (GMM), voting will take place via the usual voting devices. Members who cannot attend the GMM in person will be given the opportunity to vote via an app. This can be done from a distance either prior to the meeting or during the meeting.

Voting for the Member' council candidates
The voting procedure for the candidates for the Members' Council is slightly different. Using voting devices for every candidate during the meeting would take too much time. Voting will therefore take place prior to the meeting. You can vote for the candidates via the app (from a distance) until one hour before the start of the meeting and during the buffet prior to the meeting in special voting booths in Naaldwijk.
